Yirramboi 2017

The Yirramboi Festival is a massive celebration of First Nations Artists from all around the world. The identity design for the inaugural festival in 2017 used clouds as a poetically powerful vocabulary to express the wide emotional spectrum of indigenous experiences – from passionate rage to ponderous reflection. Through variations in colour, density and movement, these graphic forms also tracked the passing of time and place.
