Issue 72 of Typographic, the journal of the International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) focusses on the typography of protest–surveying its deep history, debating its present and speculating on its future.

Dedicated to the late political design pioneer Ken Garland, this chapbook-format hardback arrived on the doorsteps of its international membership wrapped in a special poster designed by Tré Seals of Vocatype (New York) featuring typefaces redrawn from their original presence in historical protests.
