Richard Flanagan’s seminal 1997 book, The Sound of One Hand Clapping, was based around a family’s difficult post-war migration to Australia, this book cover was painstakingly designed with custom typography as well as individual potato-cuts of Edelweiss flowers featured on the endpapers.
