The 73rd journal of the International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) offers an in-depth survey across 50 years of publishing its annual, Typographic. Entitled ’72 Point’, it was a reflective and critical look at not only its history but also the future of typographic publishing in what has been described as a ‘post-craft’ era.

Written by Elizabeth Glickfeld, and featuring a wrapper designed by Brazilian designer Rejane Del Bello, this very special issue of Typographic signifies a milestone for not only the ISTD but the broader discourse in the field of typographic design.
