15 Years of Performance

Imagine an artist being resident at a train station for 15 years. That’s exactly what the highly ambitious durational art project Weekly Ticket does. The project identity is drawn from the performance place itself – the six platforms of Footscray Railway Station. The linear structure of the railway station is worked through the typography, forming an abbreviated version of Weekly Ticket Footscray as wtf – a more contemporary acronym.
